Connected by their love of art songs, soprano Sofia Livotov, tenor Satriya Krisna and pianist Prajna Indrawati began their collaboration in London in 2018. As some of the few artists currently performing and recording Indonesian classical music in Europe, the three musicians strive to bring this lesser-known genre to a wider audience. Recent performances of Indonesian art songs include appearances at the University of Leeds International Concert Series, the Oxford Lieder Festival, the Song Easel series in London and at the Climate-Arena Sinsheim in Germany. Furthermore, songs from their home-made short album 'Sounds of Indonesia', which the musicians recorded during the pandemic, were broadcast on German radio SWR2, Radio Klassik Stephansdom and Canadian radio CKIA FM.

Their recent concert debut at the University of Leeds opened the world's eyes to the potential of Indonesian serious music. Their presence created a strong demand to further introduce Indonesian seriosa art to the international stage. With diverse backgrounds and experiences, TRITALA brings a unique nuance to the world of international classical music, creating immersive experiences for their listeners, and elevating Indonesia's serious music culture to a global level.
